The Zipfer beer is a Märzen style from an Austrian brewery. First off, it isn’t nearly as sweet as many other Märzen beers I’ve had. It’s pretty smooth throughout the entire flavor profile, with mostly notes of mild cereal and grains. There’s also a bit of a… cola-like taste in the aftertaste, that’s the closest thing it tasted like to me. It was fine overall if you like a slightly unusual Märzen.

This next beer is from the Ayinger brewery and is a lager helles style. Immediately I noticed how super mellow and smooth the flavor was of this one. The first flavor almost dissipates halfway through each sip into a pleasant aftertaste of light wheat. There’s a nice balance to this one with the lime/citrus notes. I enjoyed this one quite a bit and would recommend it.
