I thought I’d try some alcohol free beers, since it seems like they’ve gotten more popular, plus there are so many brands offering it now. The first one is Mönchshof Naturtrüb, which has pretty much just a standard beer flavor overall. It’s very smooth with not much of an aftertaste. Lots of wheat and grain for the main notes with a very slight background of hops. Pretty good and easy drinking!
The next beer is an alcohol free Hefeweizen, from Maisel Weisse. It’s very similar to the original Weizen variety from the same brand. There are flavors of cloves and holiday spices, giving it more complexity and uniqueness compared to other Weizen. I’d say maybe the taste is slightly more mild than the original Maisel’s Weizen but still really great.
