The first beer is from the Schinner brewery and is an Edel-Pils style. This was very bitter overall with a lot of hops that seem to overpower most of the other flavors. There are some roasted, or even burnt, grains and wheat notes. Definitely a complex flavor though and would be good for someone that enjoys a hoppy beer. It wasn’t bad, but I’d probably only drink one or two.

The second beer is a “Jubel” beer style from the Berg brewery. I really liked this one and found it to be very smooth. It seemed to have some citrus notes upfront and then some mild cereal and slight hops in the aftertaste. I did notice that the herb quality seemed to get a bit stronger the longer it sat. I’d recommend this one to most people as it’s an all-around tasty beer.
