Both of these beers are Helles styles. The first of which is from the Heidelberger brewery. The flavor started out decent but it was overwhelmed with toasted grains and not much lime or citrus. Honestly I’d barely call this a Helles cause it’s more unique compared to the typical variety. It was definitely easily drinkable and had a lot going on in it.

The next beer is from the Kloster Scheyern brewery. This one had way more lime flavor to it, mostly lime juice with a touch of rind in there. There weren’t many toasted notes here and was instead filled with more of a plain grain taste. Overall it was quite decent for a Helles beer. If you really love toasted beers the Heidelberger one might be appealing to you.
