Apparently there's some sort of bug or glitch happening with a large amount of YouTube users. If you make any changes to one of your videos such as changing the description or tags, the video will get placed "Under Review" and out of monetization. I've read through some of the posts on the Google forums and read that YouTube IS aware of the problem and they're working to fix everything. Because of this though I will likely wait to upload the God of War parody until this glitch is resolved. If I do happen to finish before things are back to normal I'll also finish up the Breaking Bad parody in the meantime.

At the moment, I have about 35 seconds of the God of War parody completed and when I'm done I expect it to be around 1 1/2 minutes in length. There's a total of 3 different backgrounds, 4 different characters, and there's actually a good deal of animating involved for the script. Looking at the storyboard I can see that the most difficult part of the video is probably done at least. I'll have to finish the rest of the animating, lip-sync the mouths, and write some sort of music for the whole thing. Maybe I'll upload more screenshots tomorrow but I should have it uploaded to YouTube within a couple days for sure. Also, make sure to subscribe to my YouTube channel like the other kind 1,300 people if you haven't already!

I recently got approved to stream live events on YouTube, which gives me the ability to stream a webcam or my desktop to viewers on my channel. I wasn't really sure what use I'd have for it but I think it'd be interesting to do live streams while I work on my animations. I have no idea if anyone would even want to watch that but it wouldn't hurt to test it out. I'm not quite sure when I'll attempt it but it'll probably be during… whatever video I do after the Breaking Bad parody. I'll try announcing it ahead of time, as much as I can anyway.

If you've been reading the posts on my website you'll know that the next video I'm releasing will be based on the popular God of War video game series. After that I'll hopefully have a Breaking Bad parody finished and uploaded the following week. I'm actually pretty proud and surprised I was able to release the Xbox One parody as quickly as I did. When creating an animation I need to finalize a script, record the dialog, write music, create the characters, draw the backgrounds, storyboard it, and animate the entire thing. The amount of time to do even a simple video in the "cutout style" is much greater than I originally anticipated. I would say that deciding on a script is the toughest part for me.
I do enjoy creating the videos though and hope to set aside more time to create new parodies the rest of this year. In fact, after the Breaking Bad parody is uploaded onto YouTube I'd really like to make a new video every week. I know I won't have time for anything else but I predict the stress will be worth it in the end. I have no idea what those weekly videos would even be but I could just make fun of something that has been announced on the news. I know E3 is coming up in a couple weeks, maybe a PS4 or Wii U parody?
South Park is created on a weekly basis in the same sort of way. Unfortunately they have around 70 employees working to create each episode so there's no way I can make anything that length in the same amount of time. YouTube also updated the way videos are ranked based on the viewers retention and the total minutes watched, which is a bit lame for what I'm doing. I guess with enough subscribers and sharing it wouldn't really matter so I'll just have to see what happens.
Eventually it'd be nice to do an original series, I already have ideas for that but need a high amount of subscribers/viewers first. Plus the original episodes will hopefully be 11-12 minutes in length, the same as an Aqua Teen episode or similar. Which will take a longer amount of time to create. I suppose that's still a year or so off based on what I have to do. I should have the God of War video up within a week now though, check back soon for more updates.

Microsoft recently announced their new "Xbox One" and it seems like everyone is confused about what it can do. This parody video holds a gamer Q&A to lay out all of the great new features of the Xbox One!
Xbox One – Parody Possibility
I'm in the process of tossing around parody ideas based on the Xbox One. I know that if I do decide to do it that I would need to finish it within a day or two… which means I'd have to go hardcore on it as much as possible. I have a pretty simple plan so far and a basic idea on what I'd like to do. There's very little animation and lip-syncing involved so I believe it's feasible at least. I'll make a decision tonight and if I choose to go ahead with it I'm hoping it'll be uploaded by tomorrow night. Stay tuned….
